I am having same issue. When I reboot system the username & password aren't retained so authentication of license fails. It would be nice if they would provide iptables for firewall setup as well. It is quite cumbersome to manually set up in linux. I see no point of running an antivirus in linux without also using a firewall. it is like worrying about the lock & key on a house with no doors.
If a username and password to update legacy products was not included in the license email, please ask the seller to provide it. Current products support activation and management which is not the case of legacy products.
With companies allowing staff to work from home, or to be mobile, the danger is that few companies are providing secure access to company networks, putting corporate data at risk. 2FA provides an extra layer of security for the mobile workforce when accessing a company's VPN remotely - an office based user has to go through several layers of physical security to access company information, why should a remote user be exempt. Combining something you know (PIN/password/username) and something you have (cellphone/token/smart card) provides a more secure login process and cannot be easily guessed. 2b1af7f3a8
