However, you can change the default app if you have an alternative in mind. Much of my work is not copyrighted when I send it for a line-by-line copyedit or reader review. So, Microsoft made the wordprocessor decision for me. And I found that Pages was much more stable for large documents and is designed to seamlessly accept multiple and varied graphics. I should have made this switch years ago. I am outside the Gates and a strong proponent of Pages and Numbers. Yippie!
Jekyll is an active open source project that is updated frequently. If the github-pages gem on your computer is out of date with the github-pages gem on the GitHub Pages server, your site may look different when built locally than when published on GitHub. To avoid this, regularly update the github-pages gem on your computer.
You may want to create bookmarks to help readers navigate through your documents, as a table of contents or to access more information about a certain topic from elsewhere in the tract. This useful feature disappeared from after Pages 09 but is back again:
The first method shows how to duplicate pages using the Copy and Paste functions. The second method shows how to duplicate pages using keyboard shortcuts. Plus, the Pro Tip at the end shows how to enable the multiple page selection option.
The Enable multiple page selection option at the bottom of the Organize Pages screen (see figure 4) lets you select multiple consecutive or nonconsecutive pages without using the keyboard.
The equivalent Microsoft Office applications to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, respectively.[6] Although Microsoft Office applications cannot open iWork documents, iWork applications can export documents from their native formats (.pages, .numbers, .key) to Microsoft Office formats (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx, etc.) as well as to PDF files.

Start by dragging and dropping the PDF file into your web browser to start previewing it. Then, select the Print button and specify the page ranges. Make sure to omit the page or pages that you want to delete.
For example, if you want to delete pages 6, 7, 9, and 10 in a 13-page document, type in 1-5, 8, 11-13 into the Pages field. Then, set the printer to Microsoft Print to PDF or Save as PDF and select Print or Save.
Just start by opening the PDF in Preview. Then, select a page that you want to delete from the sidebar and follow that by selecting Edit > Delete to get rid of it. You can also select multiple pages within the sidebar while holding down the Command key and delete them simultaneously.
Start by tapping on the PDF within the Files app to start previewing it. Then, tap the Share icon and select Print. Follow that by unchecking the pages you want to delete from the preview area to the bottom of the screen.
On Android, you can use the default Google PDF Viewer to delete pages from PDF documents. While viewing the file, tap the three-dot icon to the top-right of the screen and select Print. Then, uncheck the boxes under the pages you want to delete, set the printer to Save as PDF, and tap the Save icon.

Deleting unwanted pages from PDFs helps reduce clutter and improves readability. But unless you already pay for a dedicated PDF editor such as Adobe Acrobat, sticking to the native methods listed above should work just fine.
STEP 4- Once your documents are added, you can open or edit the document directly in-browser. It would not offer all the significant tools to edit and alter documents just like the Word app, but you can quickly make necessary changes to .pages format files.
Now you can see and open the web pages that are currently open on your other Mac or iOS devices. Although this feature has been around for awhile (since iOS 6 and OS X Mountain Lion), it's handy to know if you're new to Safari on either iOS or the Mac.
Chrome has become the world's most popular web browser by offering performance and features that best its competitors. But this rise in popularity has led many to struggle with losing important web pages, research, and sessions with lost or closed chrome tabs.
Similarly, you can restore recently closed tabs by again clicking the Chrome menu and hovering your cursor over the history menu item. A short summary of pages you recently visited will be listed there as well.
This will show a full history of pages you visited. You should be able to find the page you wanted there. You can even search your web page history to make it easy if it has been a while since you closed or lost your tab.
Now, look for the "Copy to Pages" or "Open in Pages" share extension in the row of app icons. In iOS 13, if you don't see it listed, scroll to the right on the list of apps, tap "More," then hit Pages' share extension. If you perform that action frequently in iOS 13, you might see the option appear in the row on its own. Either way, the document will copy itself as a new .pages document in the Pages app and open it right up. 2b1af7f3a8
