MATLAB 6.5 Portable !!TOP!!

I have recently acquired interest in learning MATLAB and I have a question:

I have a MATLAB function fcn which I would like to analyze. At first, I have several steps in the analysis process. In the step 1, I need to run the code of the function fcn. In the step 2, I would like to save or save the data obtained in the step 1 as a text file. In the step 3, I need to analyze the file. I would like to know your suggestions for the process.

I am a numerical analyst too and have been doing some statistics on EDA projects lately. I would like to go over the functionality of GetLoadFile. Can anyone please explain to me the current functionality of GetLoadFile function? Here it says: GetLoadFile - Loads a file into MATLAB or returns its contents as a cell array. EDA is an acronym for electronic design automation. Also, please tell me what is the difference between Load and GetLoadFile? Do they have same functionality?

I was using the Windows version of SubSurf 2 until recently, but I'm now using EasySub (available for Windows, Mac, and Linux) and it is outstanding. There is a cost, however, for the software: Using only the free version of SubSurf 3 you need to have around 20MB free on your hard disk. With EasySub you only need 2MB. This is a little unusual: I use Photoshop and some of the other 'free' graphics software and it will take 2GB or more and I find it hard to use (the animation may take a long time to load). With EasySub the animation is seamless and quick.
